How is the Alpha ™ charger characterized?
The Alpha™ Charger conveniently charges your iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, and other Qi-certified devices.
The Alpha ™ Charger is designed to quickly and safely charge iPhone 12, 13, and 14 Series and Apple Watch simultaneously, without the need for cables. The system intelligently adapts to conditions to optimize charging for iPhone 12, 13, and 14 Series with up to 14W of maximum power. Actual power delivered to iPhone will vary depending on the power adapter wattage and system conditions. For iPhone 12 mini, 13 mini, and 14 mini, the Alpha ™ Charger delivers 12W of maximum power.
It's important to connect the charger to a power source before placing your iPhone on it. This allows MagSafe to verify that it's safe to deliver full power. If you place your iPhone on the Alpha™ Charger before connecting it to a power source, simply remove it from the charger, wait three seconds, and then place it back on to resume delivering full power.
You can charge your Apple Watch on its side or in landscape mode with the band open by flipping up the inductive charging connector. If you lay it on its side, it will automatically go into Nightstand mode so you can also use it as an alarm clock.
